November 3rd

--We eat snack everyday. Please send a snack for your child each day. They work hard and build up an appetite!

-Please send extra clothing in your child's backpack because accidents happen! Spills, dirt, paint, etc.

-It's getting chilly! Please dress your child in warm outdoor clothing. We go outside everyday except for rain and 10 degrees or below.

--Please say your goodbyes to your child quickly. Two of my goals for your child is independence and self reliance. Expecting your child to do his/her morning routine (hanging up backpack, taking off jacket, washing hands, choosing a breakfast, and sitting down to eat) without you is helpful in achieving these goals.

EXPLORE

We love to play! We make sure to do it every single day. Finally our texture table has sand in it! It is a choice when we have Explore at the end of everyday.

MATH

This week we began focusing on the Core Math Idea of how are mathematical representations and numbers related? We worked on writing numerals and looking at different ways to represent those numbers; teddy bears, circles, squares, cubes, fingers, ten frames, etc. With a partner we matched all numerals from 0-10 with the representation of that number.
