We finished our unit on making 5 and are now learning about all the ways to make 10. We talk about part, part, whole and connecting it with the concept of putting together and writing equations.

Each week Mrs. Lavigne and Mrs. LaMothe come in and do some extra rhyming activities with us during morning meeting. We are getting better at recognizing and producing rhymes.

We have been reading Dr. Seuss books for our author study this month. On Fridays we do a craft, which relates to literacy. Here, we read "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish". We then made the cover of the book by tracing our hands, cutting them out, and writing the title on our recreations.
