Dear families
Thank you to everyone who has already signed their child up to sing at the EcoFayre on Saturday 16th May.
The first rehearsal took place today, and went really well.
We still have spaces if there any any more children that would like to take part. There are two performances, one at 10:30am and the other at 1:30pm, with each performance lasting for approximately fifteen minutes. The children who wish to participate will sing a selection of their favourite songs from our KS2 singing sessions.
Children will need to arrive ten minutes prior to the start of the performance time and must be collected after their performance has finished, and of course families are very welcome to stay and support the singers! Further information will follow when the children/timings have been allocated.
If your child would like to sing in either or both performances, please indicate this by completing the Microsoft Form - Singing at EcoFayre – Fill in form.
You only need to complete the form if your child wants to participate, and by signing your child up you are confirming their availability and committing to them being part of the singing group on the day.
If you would still like your children to participate, please complete the form by Monday 20th April.

Dear families
Reminder
After half term your child will be starting their recorder lessons.
Each child will need their own recorder for hygiene reasons, and many children are keen to purchase their own instrument.
If you would like to purchase a recorder for your child, you can do this from the school for just £1.90. School recorders will need to stay in class at all times, whilst purchasing a recorder means that your child can practise at home in between lessons if they wish to. It is important to stress that this is not expected of them, but it does mean that they will have an instrument that they can continue to learn to play.
If your child already has a recorder that they wish to use in our lessons this is fine, but it will be essential that it is brought into school every week. We will need to know if you do not require a school recorder, so please can anyone whose child already has a recorder that they will be bringing in for the lessons complete the Microsoft Form - Year 3 Recorders – Fill in form
If you would like to purchase a recorder from the school please do so using the School Shop on Arbor by Friday 13th February 2026.
