We are offering two and four portion crumbles, made with apples from our own and local orchards, for just £2 and £4 respectively. The crumbles will be delivered to your child’s classroom for them to bring home to you. We will be making all our autumn goodies to order and want to ensure we have made enough for everyone. However, if we receive more orders than we are able to make, we will fulfil orders on a first-come, first-served basis, so please order early to avoid disappointment.
All of the Bags, Bundles and Crumbles are available to order through the School Shop on Arbor, and must be paid for at the time of ordering. Alternatively, cash and cheque payments can be made at the school office between 8.30am and 4pm. Dear Parents/Carers,
We all understand how important it is to support children’s mental health, but we also know that finding the right advice can sometimes be challenging.
Please see the attached information about upcoming drop-in sessions, which are designed to offer guidance and support for families. These are run by CAMHS (Hampshire Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service) and additional support can be found on their website CAMHS where you can find links to a range of topics such as anxiety and school transition.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Kind regards,
Emily Pompa

Dear All,
We’re reaching out to see if anyone within the school community, or beyond, has access to a portable 3D printer and would be willing to visit our Year 6 classes at Wicor for a morning on Wednesday, 22nd October 2025.
Our Year 6 children are currently designing 3D pencil pots using Tinkercad, and we’d love to bring one of their creations to life with a 3D printer. While we understand that printing a full pencil pot live may take too long, we’re hoping a simpler alternative design could be printed during the visit to demonstrate the process. We also plan to select the best design from each class (two in total) to be printed in advance and presented to the winners on the day.
A short talk about 3D printing and design would be a fantastic addition to inspire the children and deepen their understanding.
If you think you or your company might be able to help support us, please contact me, Gemma Sills at g.sills@wicor.hants.sch.uk to discuss the possibilities.
Warm regards,
Gemma Sills

Dear Parents,
We have been advised that there is a possibility someone has come home with the wrong scooter. There is a scooter in the rack the same as this but this has a missing wheel and does not belong to the child who has lost theirs. Understandably, this child is very upset. Therefore, if your child has mistakenly brought home the wrong scooter, please can you pop it into the office or back on the rack.
Can we remind parents to name items and also use a lock when leaving bikes or scooters on the school grounds to alleviate this problem. Thank you.

As it is the start of a new school year, here is a reminder about driving on site at Wicor Primary School.
Please can parents also share this information with any other family or friends who will be dropping off or collecting your children.
We want to ensure that all children, parents & other family members and staff, old and new, have a positive and safe experience at Wicor Primary School when driving on site.
Parents are welcome to drive onto site for Breakfast club between 7.25am and 8.15am, if picking up or dropping off a child between 9am and 3pm, and after 3.30pm if collecting children from an after school club. Parents must not drive onto site at any other times, and the vehicular gates are locked from between 3pm and 3.30pm.
Everyone must observe the 5mph speed limit.
Parents must park on the playground when dropping off for Breakfast Club, at all other times the staff car park can be used.
Please be patient and don't drive too close to other cars. Staff will be stopping and parking in the car park, and parents need to allow staff the time and space to do this.
Everyone must use the school drive considerately. It is only wide enough for one vehicle. If you can see someone coming up the drive from the car park before you have turned into the school, please wait until they have left. Equally if someone is coming down the drive and into school, please reverse back into the car park until you are able to drive off site.
No one should be mounting the verge and causing damage to the school paths and planting, or impact on the safety of any pedestrians walking along the path.
Anyone who can not drive considerately on site may be asked not to park on the school site.
We also request that parents respect our neighbours when parking outside of the school, and not block drives, roads or be disrespectful/rude to them.
If you have any questions, or wish to discuss any of the above further, please contact the school office.
Thanking everyone for their cooperation in advance.
