Dear Families
Tomorrow it is School Disco time! Please drop your children off and collect them from the hall doors. When you are collecting it will be dark so please stand as close as possible to the ramps leading to the doors.
To safeguard all children, no child will be allowed to go with a different adult unless we have been told.
As Year R & Year 1 will be having their disco straight after school they are welcome to bring in a change of clothes.
Please also note that no phones are allowed and any phones seen will be put in a box to be collected at the end of the disco.

Please be aware that at the moment our car park lights are not working, and we are waiting for an electrician to come out and fix them.
This means that it is extremely dark in the school car park, so please be careful if you are parking on site when picking up from the After School Club, or attending the Parent Teacher meetings this week, or walking through the car park as a pedestrian.
The lights on the driveway are working, but it is the car park itself that is in darkness.
Although we are hoping that the situation will be resolved today, we can't guarantee this.
Please make sure that you are being careful too.

Fareham Borough Council is inviting skaters, riders, and the wider community to have their say on what makes a great skate park, as part of an exciting consultation to help redesign two popular local facilities.
The Council is planning to make some improvements to the existing skate parks at Wicor and Stubbington recreation grounds and wants to ensure the new designs reflect the needs and ideas of the people who use them most.
Your input will help inform the design and ensure the new skate parks meet local needs. As an added incentive, individuals who take part will be entered into a prize draw to be in with the chance of winning a £30 Route One Online Skate Shop voucher.
The consultation will run until 1 December 2025 and can be accessed here: https://online1.snapsurveys.com/gdvmcm

Dear parents/carers,
We are really pleased that our breakfast club is such a well used and valued resource. Bookings are plentiful so to ensure safety of all children, and to comply with adult/child ratios required, we are asking that any bookings made for a breakfast club space are made in advance and by 7.30pm the night before it is needed. This will allow us to ask additional staff to come into work the following morning.
This means from today, you will no longer be able to book a space for breakfast club after 7.30pm for the following morning.

We want to make you aware of a recent issue affecting some popular children’s books by Andrew Cope, including the Spy Dogs, Spy Cats, and Spy Pups series.
Some editions of these books include a printed web address at the back. This link used to go to the author’s website, but the domain is no longer under his control. It has since been taken over by another party and now leads to inappropriate adult content.
The publisher, Puffin, has paused sales and distribution of the books and is working with schools, libraries, and retailers to remove copies from circulation. They have stressed that the website has no connection to the author or publisher.
What this means for you:
If your child has any Spy Dog, Spy Cat or Spy Pups books at home, please check the back for website links and make sure they do not try to visit the site.
It is safe for children to continue reading the stories themselves — the concern is only with the outdated link.
