Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish
Children's version:
Children's version of our vision:
Stewardship is the quiet care that keeps our school thriving.
Our grounds don’t look beautiful by chance - they look this way because our children take pride in sweeping, tidying, planting and noticing the spaces they use every day. And when they do those jobs, they start to see things; the first flowers of spring, new buds on familiar branches. The small changes you only spot when you’re truly paying attention.
It is important to us that we provide a curriculum that helps children to understand and live our vision. One way we do this is by helping children to learn about their natural world by noticing, observing and recording the changing seasonal landscape around them. Every child in Years 1 to 6 has their own Nature Journal that they collate and curate throughout the year.
Listen to some Year 6 children talking about their journalling experiences.
