Environmental Issues

A Year 5 pupil has been selected as the winner of our school’s environmental T-shirt logo competition. As a result of this achievement, the pupil has been awarded a T-shirt displaying her winning design.

The competition was introduced to pupils during a school assembly several weeks prior. A design brief was outlined, inviting pupils to create a logo for a T-shirt that would reflect and celebrate our school’s vision. The intention is for the T-shirt to be worn as part of the school uniform, in a similar way to the existing Dance Live! T-shirts.

Pupils will have the opportunity to earn this T-shirt by demonstrating acts of stewardship, either within school or in the wider community, that go above and beyond everyday expectations. These contributions may be carried out individually or as part of a group, such as a family or a voluntary organisation.

The winning design, titled “Guardians of Planet Earth,” has been refined and prepared for printing, while still remaining faithful to the original concept.
