Service & Activity:
Jenesis Volleyball is a volleyball club outside of Wells. The club is hosted by my varsity team coach, coach JJ. The club is made up of middle age women, university women, and 4 high school students from Wells who are also in the varsity team this year. The main purpose of our club aside from having fun and improving our skills is to take the money we win from tournaments all over the year, and donate it to the less fortunate schools at the outskirts of Thailand to support them in sports activity.
Our first tournament was held at Adventist Ekkamai School, called Phoenix Cup. After losing to the first team we played in the pool, we got back on our feet by winning all the later games as well as the finals. We won our first tournament as a Jenesis Volleyball Club.
Our second tournament was held at Ekkamai International School hosted by Jenesis ourselves. While facing many challenging teams, we came out 3rd place out of 9 teams.
Jenesis Volleyball's practice is every Sunday afternoon. Even though sometimes I am not able to make it to practice because of a Wells tournament or other work, I always try my best to be at the practice constantly because it is fun meeting and working with new people.
