ABRSM Piano Exam (2009-2013)

Grades 1, 4, 5, 5 (Theory), 7, 8

ABRSM: The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) is an examinations board.

I started learning piano since I was 4 years old. I enjoy playing the piano as I was able to perform and express my emotions while playing. Playing piano also made my family very happy which makes me happy too. I took the first piano examination which was the ABRSM Grade 1 when I was six years old with distinction. I learned with my teacher once a week and practiced almost everyday. In the following years, I took Grade 4 and 5, and Piano Theory Grade 5, and finishing with Grade 7. Finally, I passed the ABRSM Grade 8 with merit when I was 10 years old. I am super grateful for having such a supporting family and a great teacher who guides me well.

ATCL Piano Recital Diploma

June 14th, 2018

Associate (ATCL): equivalent in standard to the first year of an undergraduate degree

On June 14th, 2018, I took the ATCL Piano Recital Exam. ATCL is an Associateship diploma from Trinity College London. The exam was a 40 minute recital of the list of songs provided by Trinity College London which the examiner will record and send to the Trinity College London at London for other examiners to judge. I chose a total of five songs from 5 different musical periods. Below are program notes and the list of songs I played during the 40 minute performance to the examiner. In order to express more musical feelings and professionalism, I decided to memorize all songs except one which was Scriabin's Deux Poèmes Op,32 No.1 because the piece is written by a 20th century composer so the piece contains less structure and daring harmonies making it hard to memorize. Since it is a slow song, I decided to carry the song's music sheets into the examination room. I am super thankful for my teacher who has taught me with passion and my family for constantly supporting and motivating me.

Examples of My Program Notes:

Thailand's Third Highest Mark in 2018 for ATCL Music Performance

A few months later, the results came out that I passed the ATCL Piano Performance Diploma with a distinction. I got a total score of 81/100. Later, I received another award for getting Thailand's Third Highest Marks in 2018 in the ATCL Music Performance Piano examination.

Piano Youtube Channel

My mom started making a piano youtube channel for me since I was young where she would upload my piano performances or covers of pop songs. One of my mom's favorite song is Por Una Cabeza by Carlos Gardel so my mom recorded me playing the song in 2011 when I was 8 years old. In the present, the video has 117,000 views and 1.7 likes. Other videos on the channel include my performances on various student concerts and some of my exam pieces.

Piano Instagram Account

I started making a piano Instagram account April 2020 because of the quarantine, I wanted to share my piano playing with other people. I also allowed the viewers to request songs they wanted to listen to.
