ATCL Piano Diploma

May 14th, 2018

I started learning the piano when I was 4 years old. My family supported me financially and emotionally so at only by the age of 10, I completed the ABRSM Grade 8 exam with a merit score. After preparing myself for about a year, on June 14th, 2018, I took the Trinity College London ATCL Diploma exam in piano performance resulting a distinction score at the age of 15. The diploma is equivalent to finishing a first year in a university majoring in music.

Associate (ATCL): equivalent in standard to the first year of an undergraduate degree

To me, this ATCL Piano Recital Diploma is one of my biggest achievements ever.

K9 Club Shirt and Logo Design

November - December 2018 at Bangkok, Thailand

Creativity:

As a K9 Club leader, the first club merchandise we produced was a T-shirt where we could earn profit and raise awareness for our club. All the profit in the shirt making and selling goes directly to the shelter we are working with, called CHSAthai located in Saraburi.

We started off telling the members to design some shirt logos and send them into the club's messenger group chat. Many members sent in their design but after the voting process, the logo that I designed was the logo we decided to put on the K9 Shirt. With this logo, At first glance, my co-leaders and I were hesitant that the shirts would not sell out very well.

Teaching Piano at Wells

January to May at Wells International School

Creativity:

I have a lot of experiences in piano performance and theory. In the second semester of my sophomore year, I decided to teach piano at school to a grade 5 student, Nadiya. I would meet with my student every Monday after school in the music room. She had some basics in piano, so I taught many songs that she said she likes. We had lots of fun and played many songs from the exercise book including the basic version of Moonlight Sonata, Swan Lake, and many other songs she likes. She was able to memorize the songs easily but she did not know the theories of piano, hence, I also taught her how to read notes and count the beats, I made her aa chart and some exercises to help her learn better. This was a great and fun experience for me as I got to share my experiences and knowledge with a younger pianist.

March Piano Student Concert

March 16, 2019 at Bangkok, Thailand

Creativity:

My piano teacher, Ms. Jun, collaborates with another Japanese violin teacher and hosts a 'March Concert' annually. Every year, students would practice and prepare to perform their pieces at the concert. The concert gives me a different experience every time I participated because it lets me show my skills in piano performance as well as meet new friends from other international schools around Bangkok.

Interior Designing for fun

April - May, 2019 at Bangkok, Thailand

Creativity:

In my sophomore year's math class, the teacher assigned a project that students had to use designing apps to design homes with many shapes and calculate the areas. After submitting my math project using an amazing website called floorplanner.com, I was interested in designing accommodations because I get to choose the layout and furniture present in each designs.

During the project, I spent a lot of time with the website and I was fascinated and interested in making more designs. I made more designs in my own time because I found it very enjoyable and relaxing. I made three complete designs of condominiums as I found how trying to fit all the necessities in a such a small area effectively is interesting as the urban is getting more crowded, hence, condominiums are getting smaller.
