This year, I participated in the Youth for SDGs, 'Health and Wellbeing in Times of Covid-19' with two of my other colleagues and we came up with solutions to problems that Covid-19 was causing in terms of mental health for students and adults alike. This slide presentation we created and presented was meant to voice out our solutions which is why I deemed it 'creativity' as we decided to produce an app which required us to make a name and decide how to implement it. By interacting with the committee, we were able to feel as though we were doing our part to make a change through our thoughts even as sophomores.
An obstacle we faced was having to brainstorm a creative idea that would stand out. Another obstacle being that it was difficult to find time to come together to practice presenting, however this was something we dedicated our time to since we knew many people were struggling with Covid-19, and thus wanted to think of an innovative way to alleviate the financial issues they face by collaborating creatively.
