Properly exposed (not blown out or muddy)
Flash used correctly when needed
Consistent white balance within the session
Edited cleanly (not flat, green, orange, or over-contrasted)
Composition & Variety
Your gallery should show:
A mix of wide, medium, and close-up shots
Variety in angles and framing
Clean backgrounds and intentional crop choices
No repetitive or near-duplicate images
More photos ≠ better gallery. Intentional variety wins.
Flow & Professionalism
Your gallery reflects how you ran the session:
Images follow a logical session flow
No rushed or careless framing
No obvious setup distractions
The gallery feels calm, cohesive, and complete
Common Issues
Avoid these:
Missing image types
Inconsistent white balance or lighting within one gallery
Flat or muddy editing
Rushed posing setups
Repeating the same angle over and over
Submitting galleries that do not meet WNB standards
