1. Present the Order Clearly
● Show the checkout screen to the parent
● Turn the device so they can clearly view it
● Give them time to review
2. Review the Order Together
● Confirm selected images
● Confirm products and package
● Clearly communicate if a subscription (Joy) is included
3. Parent Completes Checkout
● The parent must personally click “Buy and Subscribe”
● This action serves as authorization for both purchase and subscription
● Photographers should never click this button on the parent’s behalf
● While completing cleanup, invite parents to watch the Joy Welcome Video on the
checkout screen if they purchased Joy
“To wrap things up, I have your X (for ex. Digital Download with a one-month Joy subscription included). I’m going to have you take a moment to review everything and complete checkout right here.”
If Purchase Includes Joy:
“Your online gallery will remain active for the next two weeks if you or your family would like to purchase anything else. The link will be sent to your email- there will also be a Welcome Video from Joy, a link to download the app, and a survey about your experience. This card includes your access code and my name. Thank you again for letting me capture these memories for you!”
If Parents Do NOT Purchase:
“Your online gallery will be active for the next two weeks- the link will be sent to your email. There will also be a feedback link to let us know about your experience. This card includes your access code and my name. Thank you again for letting me capture these memories for you!”
If Parents Purchase:
“Your online gallery will be active for the next two weeks if you or your family wants to purchase anything else! The link will be sent to your email. There will also be a feedback link to let us know about your experience. This card includes your access code and my name. Thank you again for letting me capture these memories for you!”
If parents express concern about the photos expiring:
“Two weeks is the standard length; however, you can always call customer service to ask for your gallery to be reactivated!”
