What is a Draft?
Drafting orders means the client pre-pays for the package and can finalize the order on their own at their convenience. Their confirmation receipt will include a special link that will take them right to their pre-paid purchase.
If they use the online gallery link that is sent from the website or their gallery access code, it will not recognize their purchase, so it's important that they use the link that was emailed in their purchase receipt. Please note- your client will not their digital downloads until they complete their draft order!
Sidenote-
If you drafted an in-hospital package, your job is not done after you collect payment! All in-hospital packages include a digital download link of the high-resolution images from the gallery in color and black and white.
In order for the client to receive the black and white files, you must go back to "Manage Gallery" and then check the box that says 'add all of your images in black & white' If you do not do this, the client will NOT get the black and white files when they finalize the drafted order.
Q: How will the client be able to complete their draft?
A: The client receives a link in their emailed receipt. Again, this is different from the regular gallery access code link that our website automatically emails. The receipt says, “Don’t forget to complete your order”. The link in that email will take them right to their pre-paid purchase. They need to use the link in their emailed receipt. If the site asks the client to pay again, they are not using the correct link.
Additional info: If you, as the photographer, will complete the order on their behalf, go to the orders page and click the draft link.
Q: I want to re-send the client the draft link and finalize my client’s draft. Where do I find the draft link?
A: The draft link is on the client’s Order page. To find the Order page, follow the instructions below.
Additional info: If you are finalizing the order on the client’s behalf DO NOT go through Manage Gallery because the normal gallery will not recognize a package was already purchased. Only the draft URL on the Order page will take you right to their pre-paid purchase.
Q: Are there step-by-step instructions on how to finalize draft orders?
A: Yes! Below is how to finalize in-hospital package. You’ll have to tweak the steps below depending on what package the client purchased.
First, click the following link:
Click "Complete Your Order."
Scroll down, click "Download Your Baby's Photos," and add the file to your package. Do not add the black-and-white images, as they are already included for free in your purchase.
Add remaining items to your order
Once your order is complete, click "Finalize Order." If you added anything to the package, you will need to enter payment first to finalize the order.

Q: How can I add the slideshow to a drafted package that doesn’t already include it?
A: If you look at the end of the shopping cart in the MISC section, you’ll find add-on options. Choose the one that fits the package the client purchased.
Q: Is there an expiration date on when the client has to complete their drafted order?
A: The pictures are only online for 2 weeks whether an order is placed or not; however, we save the photos in our archive for up to 1 year. The client can call or email us when they’re ready to order if they do not order within the 2-week period. We can restore the images for the client to finalize their order within 24 hours of us receiving the request. If they wait more than 1 year to finalize their order, we can probably still recover them (depending on how long it has been), but it may just take a little more time.
