Giftcards

Gift cards are used as a supplement payment method for non-debit/credit card purchases IF they are purchasing a package with JOY.

Suppose you know the parent wants to pay with an alternate payment method. In that case, we need to purchase a gift card first in the closest denomination to their purchase price- i.e. if the total is $164, purchase a $150 gift card and the remaining $14 will HAVE to go on a credit/debit card. This is for their JOY membership (albeit included) to process.

Another reason for purchasing a giftcard is if the family is wanting to use two cards. You will purchase a giftcard with the first card, fulfill that, and apply it to the second order.

Step 1: Under Products, scroll down to find Gift Card

Step 2: Select your denomination

Step 3: Checkout like normal with just the gift card in your cart

Step 4: In the Dashboard, go to Fulfillment and find your order. Hit the pencil edit box.

Step 5: Create the gift card by hitting the second edit icon inside the order. Make the gift card number the parents' access code and insert the current balance (what you checked out for). Hit update Gift card.

Step 5: Mark as fulfilled. Its created and ready to go.

Step 6: Go back to the Dashboard selling page, select your product and check out like normal. Apply the giftcard number to the 'Giftcard' promo code spot and pay the remaining balance with the parents' credit/debit card.
