Sharing, taking turns, supporting others

We will achieve this by:

  • Sharing class equipment like felt tips, there is enough for everyone to use

  • Putting equipment back so that others can use it rather than putting it in our tote trays

  • Using kind words to all

  • Respecting each others’ personal boundaries

  • Taking turns with games and equipment so that everyone can use it

  • Staying positive when we have to stop using something, it's ok, I'll get another turn soon

  • Handing over the ball in handball nicely to the kids who are left playing and getting into line quickly ready to have another go

  • Help others cope with disappointment when they can't use what they want straight away

Success Indicator:

  • When you help someone, you will feel proud of yourself and they will feel proud of you

  • We will be thanked for our thoughtfulness

  • Everyone will be happy because they ALL got a go with the equipment

  • We will feel respected and cared for when people speak to us using kind words

  • We will feel safe and happy in our personal space

  • We can continue to improve and develop our reputation in a positive way
