Is our problem a big one? Or a small one? Do we need a teacher to help or are we old enough to sort out yourselves?
Are we trying to get someone else growled at, or are we trying to stop something that might get someone hurt? It's important to know, now you are old enough, what to do in what situation.
We will achieve this by:
Knowing when we are out in handball and moving to the line quickly for our next turn
Asking if we can use others' property and not just take them
Noticing when people need help and offering nicely to help them
Using kind words to all, put ups and not put downs
Respecting each others’ personal boundaries
Keep our hands and feet to ourselves
Thank others for helping us
Taking turns happily and quickly
Putting our hands up in class to take a turn at talking
Success Indicator:
When you help someone, you will feel proud of yourself and they will feel proud of you
We will be thanked for our thoughtfulness
We will play games nicely and everyone will have fun!
We will feel respected and cared for when people speak to us using kind words
We will feel safe and happy in our personal space
We can continue to improve and develop our reputation in a positive way

Who is your audience? Remember, they have not read this article and need to know all the key points about what happened.
If you need a reminder as to how to make a link for your headline, watch the video to the left.

2. Do you agree with them? Talk to them about it.
fill in the details after our Sizzling Starts so our readers know what is going on.
This week we are going to choose a Sizzling Start we have already written, and write the backfill for it. What was going on in your Sizzling start that needs some more explaining for your read. Just another paragraph to help fill in some gaps.

This exciting, fast-paced myth retells a traditional story from Ngāti Awa. It portrays one chief’s courageous actions to protect his iwi from the taniwha Tarakura. Iratumoana, the chief, displays many qualities: bravery, fortitude, and decisiveness. He also shows wisdom and humility, understanding that he must consult and work with others if he is to prevail over the taniwha. The chief provides a positive role model of someone who puts himself in physical danger for the good of the community.

We are learning how to do cursive handwriting. We will do it as a class and work together to learn how to join our letters together.
We will do this in our writing book with a BLUE pen.
Get a ruler and a RED pen out also for ruling lines.
NO OTHER PENS ARE ACCEPTABLE.
Learning to Type
Using our chromebooks, we need to practice our typing. Whaene Vicki can type WITHOUT looking! This is called touch typing. You have to practice a lot to get to that stage, but you can get better and USE MORE THAN ONE FINGER if you practice just a little bit!
