Kauri & TohorāTiki introduces Riley to the Lord of the Forest, the awe-inspiring Tāne Mahuta. They then road trip to Whangarei and meet Te Kaurinui, a Pouako of Tohorā tikanga who tells the story of Kauri & Tohorā.

Ngatiwai Kaumatua Hori Parata tells the story, in English, of the relationship between the Tohorā and the kauri tree.

Must do:

Create an animation retelling the story of Tane Mahuta and the Tohorā. Use the videos to guide your story. Save to your Literacy Folder.

Must do:

Make a copy in your Literacy Folder.
Read the text
Work through the activities on the slides.
