PRODUCT UPDATE:
Update as of 23 OCT 2024
The 1- or 2-digit numbers displayed reflect the air quality or PM (particulate matter) status.
Additionally, the blue light indicator confirms that the air quality is clean and within a good range.
After about 40 seconds, the unit will display the PM2.5 level according to the surrounding environment, and the color around the power button (known as the AQI aperture color) will also correspond to the air quality. The lower the numbers are displayed, the better the air quality.
Customers can try to burn a candle near the unit or cook something with a strong odor to see if the numbers increase and the AQI color will change accordingly.
Note:
When the unit is turned on for the first time, it automatically activates the auto-mode feature.
In this mode, the unit adjusts the fan speed based on the ambient air quality.
So for example, in the pic below,
>>> The air quality is good since there is a "blue" ring.
>>> The unit is in "auto" mode which means if the customer decides to burn a candle or cook throwing the air quality off, the unit will change speeds and color if there are toxins in the air. In AUTO MODE, , the unit selects the fan speed according to the ambient air quality.
>>> Air quality indicator: Double display of belt and ring shapes.
blue = good
amber = average
red = poor.
