OVERVIEW:
Follow the guidelines when processing orders for DTV customers
Add customer to Shopify if not yet in the system
Confirm following information for every customer before sending payment link:
If they are tax-exempted
Customer will need to submit their tax-exempt certificate before we can remove the taxes
Inform customer that we cannot refund tax once order has been processed
If they are purchasing for personal use or for business
For personal use:
Make sure that they provide their personal email address
This is because our system will perceive their purchase as a business order if they use their business email address, and we have a different process for B2B orders
For business use
Make sure they provide their business email address
BAU for B2B order processing
The CSM who closed the deal will be both the contact owner and the sales partner, unless they are existing customers with a different contact owner/sales partner
If customer is not in Hubspot, add them in the system
Do not forget to add tagging in Shopify “CSM-DTV”
