All grades for ALL marking periods should be FINALIZED in JCampus by 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 14th. Don't forget to recalculate for ALL subjects once all grades are in. Report card instructions can be found below.
Check current and past grades in Gradebook for accuracy. Go to final ReCalc on all sections for Marking Period 4 before checking. Go to Reports -> Term Grades Report -> All Students. Be sure and select the school year 2025.
1. Corrections should be made in Gradebook to cause the correct grade to appear for the grade that is incorrect in any marking period. Correcting the gradebook is the preferred method of fixing an incorrect marking period grade (by adjusting the assignment grade(s) which affect the marking period grade).
2. Make sure all students have grades in handwriting, P.E., music, art etc. (6 grades are required)
3. There should be no 'I' (incompletes) for any students. If you have questions about specific cases, please don't hesitate to ask.
4. Make sure accommodation codes for SPED and/or 504 students are marked for each subject.
5. Put in Code 15 (Accommodation) and/or Code 16 (Modification) for all SPED, Speech IEP, 504, and LEP students. The code must be added to each subject separately.
Last day for RTI progress monitoring is May 2, unless a student is in an evaluation. Email addresses must be at the end of each students name. Interventions continue until the end of the year.
SBLC Meetings will take place on Tuesday, May 13th in C19. Meetings will start with 5th grade teachers and continue down to 4th, etc. A sub will go to each of your rooms to cover your class while you attend the meeting. Please make sure you are prepared at any time and have activities ready for the sub to complete with your students. **You may leave a video/movie for your students.
We will discuss all students failing. Decisions will be made on placement: retention or promotion of each student. You will need to bring your grades for all students, ATTENDANCE records (only for students failing), and your list of 504/sped students.
In addition, teachers must complete all RTI documentation on GOOGLE drive and complete the RTI forms attached below.
Please come prepared & organized! Thank you!
Please take care of this by May 23rd

Cleaning Out Classrooms
As you begin cleaning out your classrooms at the end of the year, please remember a few things. If you no longer want items purchased by the school, email a picture of the items to myself, Mary, and Autumn and we will make a decision on how to remove the items from your room. Personal items that you want to throw away can be placed in the hallway with a note to throw on the last two days of school.
End of the year Checklist is here!!

Classroom Rostering
Teachers, we are in the process of creating a schedule for grade-level teams to meet and discuss student placement for the upcoming year. To prepare for this, each teacher will need to complete a placement card for every student in your class (pink for girls, blue for boys). The cards will be placed in your box this week, and we ask that they be completed by the time we meet in May.
The goal is to balance the caseloads across grade levels. Special education resource teachers will need to be present for these meetings.
We value your insight and expertise in understanding your students, and we appreciate your help in creating balanced caseloads. (Please note: 5th grade teachers do not need to complete this.) Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
Finalizing SLTs
We are ready to begin finalizing many SLTs! Once the third benchmark assessment is administered in grades 1–5, you will have five days to grade the assessments and enter the data into your SLT recording sheet. Please place the completed sheet in the black box for review. Admin will go over the data and return the sheet to you, at which point you may enter the information into the LES platform. We are also ready to finalize fluency SLTs. After all make-ups have been completed, enter your data into your fluency spreadsheet and report the results on your SLT in LES. Once everything is entered, email your evaluator so we can complete the process on our end!
