Chain Links

Chain links are earned by homeroom CLASSES when the class is working together to follow expectations.

Who can give them?

• ANY ADULT on campus!

• If at any time a teacher or staff member sees an entire class of students working together to follow expectations, they can either verbally compliment them and the teacher will add a link once they get to the classroom OR physically hand them a link.

• These are a BIG DEAL! Teachers and staff, ensure that you tell the class WHY you are giving the link just as you do with Cool Cash.

How can my class earn chain links?

• Classroom Scoreboard for following Classroom Expectations

  • Students get a chain link when they have more "Mighty-Oh Yeahs" than "Mighty Groans".

• Following Cafeteria Expectations

• Following Dismissal Expectations in the Gym 

  • Weekly Competition for Quietest Grade Level in Gym

• Following Hallway Expectations

• Following Restroom Expectations

• Following Playground Expectations

• Grade Level with Highest Attendance

• No Minor OR Major Referrals in each Homeroom for the Week

What are the rewards? 

• A star will be placed on your class’s section of the PBIS wall once a class earns 20 chain links. 

• Teachers will fill out the form below to notify the office of their reward.

• ALL REWARDS WILL BE REDEEMED ON WEDNESDAYS!

• Rewards for multiples of 20 links must be free. Please only choose one reward each time.

• Rewards for multiples of 100 links must be $30 or under. Please only choose one reward at each time.

• Please purchase, collect and sign the receipt, and complete a blue reimbursement form with the receipt attached. Turn this in to Ms. Cartnee.
