*NEW*We are excited to share that we’re planning a Beautification Day after school lets out, most likely during the first or second week of June. We will be inviting our community to volunteer on this day! One of the projects we would love to kick off is painting a colorful mural across from Hall 3 (the first-grade hallway), leading toward the exit.
This will be a wonderful opportunity to make our school even more beautiful! More details about the Beautification Day will be shared in the spring, but we want to put it out there now—if you’re interested in taking charge of the mural project, please let me know by next Friday, February 28th.
All supplies will be provided by the school!
PBIS Event #3 Magician, March 14
We’re just 10 school days away from our PBIS event and the end of the third nine weeks! We want as many students as possible to attend, but they must earn it by following CPE expectations every day.
Let’s continue to spotlight and positively reinforce the behaviors we want to see—respectful hallway movement, safe choices at recess, good manners at lunch, engaged learning in the classroom, and responsible behavior on the bus. A consistent, positive message from all of us will help students stay on track and motivated to do their best.
Thank you for your dedication and support! Your encouragement makes a huge impact, and together, we can help our students finish these last 10 days strong.

🎉DIBELS MOY to EOY Incentive🎉
When: Starting Monday, January 6
Who: To be considered for the incentive, each class in each grade will need a minimum of 80% of their students to complete 3 or more on-grade level lessons each week. The class that has the most on-level lessons completed, with at least 80% of its students completing the lessons, will earn an extra snack from the snack cart each week.
If there is a week in pacing where only 2 lessons are taught, you will need to assign another on-level lesson during that week.
The Math teacher of the winning class will also be treated to a snack and drink from the teacher cart as a special thank you for their hard work and dedication.
We’re kicking off the second half of the year with a fun and motivating AR reading challenge! Each week, we’ll be tracking the progress of every homeroom in AR reading, and the class with the highest AR points earned in a week in each grade level will earn some awesome rewards! 🎯
The winning students will get an extra snack from the snack cart 🍪, and the reading teachers will get to pick a treat and drink from the teacher cart! 🥤🎉
Let’s hit the ground running and make reading a top priority—together, we can make this a fun and exciting challenge that encourages everyone to read more, earn points, and have a blast doing it! 🚀 Let’s go, team! 📖🌟
