Tasia Savage is a dedicated music educator with 15 years of teaching experience, currently serving students in grades 6–12 as an Instrumental Music teacher. With a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Tasia has spent the last 11 years working in the Millersport school district to inspire a love of music in her students. She believes deeply in the power of music to connect people, embracing the philosophy that “Music is the universal language of mankind,” a quote by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow that reflects her passion for the art form and its ability to bring communities together.
Being part of the union is important to Tasia because she values the collective strength and support it provides to educators. She is committed to advocating for fair treatment, professional growth, and resources that benefit both teachers and students. Her goals include fostering a strong network of support for fellow educators, ensuring that every student has access to a high-quality education, and helping to create a positive and collaborative school environment.
Outside of the classroom, Tasia enjoys sewing, crafting, exploring Ohio history, and actively contributing to her community. She is a proud member of the Thornville Lions Club and serves on the Thornville Village Council, further demonstrating her commitment to service.
