I will be starting my 35th year of teaching. I started my teaching career with Sts Peter & Paul Catholic school in Warren, Ohio. During my time at the school I taught pre-school, kindergarten, gym, art, and religion. When the doors to the school closed I worked as a daycare director until moving to Baltimore Ohio. Living in Baltimore Ohio, I continued to be a director of the Rainbow Stations Latchkey program and also worked as a daycare director and coordinator for a collaborative initiative program for 3-5 year old children through Franklin Co. Headstart. I also worked for Headstart of Franklin Co. with Whitehall City Schools as a special education /Autism teacher for students in pre-school to 3rd grade.
I have have been working for Walnut Township local school district since 2012. From 2012-2014 I worked as a substitute teacher for the district. In 2015 I accepted a position as an intervention aide in the elementary school. Since the 2015-2016 school year to the current school year , I have been employed as a first grade teacher.
I am a graduate of Champion High School, in Champion Ohio (Warren, Ohio), I have a Bachelors degree in elementary education, Social Science, and Child Development. I also have a Masters degree in Education grades K-8.
I am married, and have 5 children, 3 of my own and 2 stepsons. I have 12 grandchildren. I enjoy traveling with my husband, spending time with my family, cooking, baking, reading, and gardening.
