Joe Brownfield is the District Technology Coordinator and a Business and Technology teacher, currently in his 22nd year at Walnut Township Local Schools. He earned his B.A. in Business Management with a focus on Marketing from Capital University, his teacher certification in Business (Vocational 4–12) from Ashland University, and his M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Technology from Grand Canyon University. He also holds a Technology Endorsement (K–12) from Notre Dame College.
A former WTEA Union Treasurer, Joe was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He enjoys traveling and watching his kids play sports. A fun fact about Joe—he is a member of the Krewe of Morpheus and rides on a float in a Mardi Gras parade each year. He also previously served as an assistant football coach for one year and head baseball coach for three years at Millersport High School.
