Being a part of the union is important to me because it is the place where our voices collectively are heard and represented.
The goal for me would be for our fellow educators to be respected by our community as professionals.
My hometown connection is that I'm from Lancaster and ran cross country in high school. I remember coming to Millersport and running Coach Keener's course back in the Sweet Corn festival fields.
I run, read books, garden, and work on my house. We like to go hiking and I enjoy exploring new places.
Fun fact: During covid my race got cancelled so I ran from my house to the high school and it turned out to be exactly a half marathon.
I love working at Millersport high school and love to help get my kids ready for life after high school. I work closely with outside agencies like the Goodwill, Capabilities, and SOCIL to help students be prepared for their careers, trainings, and independent lives after they graduate.
