Deb Cassady is the 8th/9th grade Intervention Specialist with over 30 years of teaching experience. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Ohio University and a Master’s degree in Literacy and Learning from Walden University. Her certifications include Special Education, History, and Social Studies Comprehensive. Deb has been an active member of the teachers' union throughout her career, serving on various committees and advocating for a safe and equitable working environment for all educators. She has lived in the Walnut Township district since 1995, and is proud that two of her sons are graduates of the district. Outside of the classroom, Deb enjoys participating in living history events, especially those focused on the American Revolution. Her hobbies include sewing, reading, embroidery, gardening, playing the piano, and singing.
