Amanda Henry

I am currently teaching Language Arts to grades 4 and 5 at Millersport Elementary. This is my 18th year teaching, the 3rd year at Walnut Township. Before coming to this district, I taught for 15 years at Southwest Licking Local Schools in the Pataskala area. I received both my bachelors and masters degrees in Middle Childhood Education from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. 

I currently reside in Lancaster, Ohio with my husband, Michael, and our two sons. Mason is a 5th grader and Asher is a 3rd grader, both at Walnut Township. Outside of school I love spending time with my family, attending community and church events, or cuddling up to read a good book!

I am very proud to be a Laker family! Millersport is a very special community. I really enjoy teaching alongside a great group of committed and caring people. I have seen the passion that my colleagues have for teaching kids and feel grateful my boys are receiving their education in this community. I am excited to see what future years have in store for my Laker kids: students and children.
