Who do I see for Tier 3 Interventions?
Students who have previously been identified as Tier 3 should be receiving interventions. A list of your Tiered students is provided to you by Wicklow's MTSS Coordinator.
Students whose Tier 2 progress you are concerned about can be recommended for Tier 3 instruction at a weekly MTSS meeting; If Tier 2 interventions are not successful, an alternate resource or provider may be necessary prior to a direct transition to Tier 3.
Tier 3 students who are proving successful after receiving 6-8 weeks of intervention can be recommended for a transition to Tier 2 instruction at a weekly MTSS meeting.
When do I provide interventions?
Interventions for Tier 3 should occur at a minimum of three times per week for at 30 minutes in a small group.
Instruction should occur as directed by the resource.
How do I monitor progress?
Generally, you will need to assess a skill or benchmark on a bi-weekly basis. The form used to track proficiency can be found through the links below as they may differ depending on resource.
Tier 3 proficiency data will be uploaded to EdInsight by the provider on a bi-weekly basis.
