DreamBox is best utilized for Tier 2 students in classes where technology and digital math practice is embedded into daily instruction.
DreamBox is engaging and effective at increasing student proficiency but includes learning curves for both teacher and student.
2021 Recommended Criteria for DreamBox
Kindergarten: iReady scale score of 318 or below on iReady D2 (December)
1st Grade: iReady scale score 330-346 on iReady D1 (August)
2nd Grade: iReady scale score 358-386 on iReady D1 (August)
3rd-5th Grades: 2 grade levels below on iReady D1 (August)
FSA Score: Level 1 Bucket 3 (High 1) & Level 2 Bucket 1 (Low 2)
Students and teachers access DreamBox using their Clever App; all students have access.
Teachers must conference with their students to ensure they choose the Teacher Assigned Lessons when they log in with their credentials. Teacher assigned lessons will appear for students with a calendar icon beside lesson.
Allows access to the following reports:
Assignment History: displays student assignment completion within a window of time
Standards Mastery: displays which standards have been mastered based on initial assessment and lessons
Predictive Insights: displays projected proficiency
Student Usage: displays minutes of instruction

Allow DreamBox to determine the area of need with their adaptive diagnostic assessment.
Assign by lesson, B.E.S.T benchmark, or skill.
Assign short-term or long-term lessons.

Student progress should be monitored on a weekly basis so the data can be entered accurately into EdInsight after 5 completed lessons for a bi-weekly data point.
Using the Assignment History Report, average the lessons completed. Over two weeks up to 5 lessons could be averaged.
Green indicates proficient, Grey checks indicate not proficient.
Assignment Reports will be most useful in collecting your 5 data points.
