About the Program

BISAC provides an entry level intake process and networks their clientele through their partnered services in the community. Clients have an array of services inpatient and outpatient that are selected for them based on assessment. These services include:

NATIVE HAWAIIAN CULTURAL PRACTICES: OUTPATIENT

  • Lo'i kalo tending

  • Fishpond tending

  • Integration of Native Hawaiian values and teachings

  • Natural outdoor setting therapy

  • Group/Individual counseling

THERAPEUTIC LIVING & CLEAN AND SOBER PROGRAM: INPATIENT

  • Culinary integration vocational training

  • Pregnant and Parenting Women and Dependent Children Therapeutic Living Program (PPWDC TLP)

  • Family health education

CAREER PROGRAM: PO'OKELA

  • Vision and goal setting towards career journeys

  • Identifying barriers, expenses, and steps towards a goal for long-term employment
