Clubhouse Renovation Update: From Demo to Build!

In January 2025, we signed a 10-year lease for the old bathroom building at the north end of the Jay County Fairgrounds. Since then, we’ve been hard at work transforming it into our new clubhouse. First came the demolition—now the real building is progressing splendidly, thanks to Carl and his ragtag band of Constructioneers! (is that a word? But click on the link for a quick story  :-).

A funding source also came through several months ago that it much less worrisome about how to complete this project, but your tax-deductible donations are still welcomed.

We’re excited about the changes ahead and will keep you posted as progress continues. This project wouldn’t be possible without the incredible dedication of those volunteers. Thank you to everyone who’s pitched in to get us this far!

We typically gather to work on the building each Saturday from 9:00 AM to noon (with coffee brewing at 8:00 AM in the scout cabin). Some of our retired members are also putting in extra hours during the week—every bit helps.
