CW Encoder/Decoder

CwGet / CwType

If you're not into learning code but still would like to attempt to use it, here are two programs that may make it possible. The receiver is not, by any means, perfect. If you have a lot of background noise or are trying to receive a really weak signal, you'll get a lot of sparatic characters. But once tuned in, it does a fair job. The only thing you'll really need for listening is an audio connection between your radio (receiver or transceiver) and your computer. For transmitting, however, it's a bit more complex. You'll need either an interface (Cat controller type) or a radio that has that built in already such as the Icom IC-7300 or the Yaesu FT-9991 or FT-991A.

Click here for examples of interfaces that should work from West Mountain Radio and the RigBlaster.
