Feb 18, 2024: So many site updates over the past 9 months that haven't been logged due to time constraints. Updated the site map today and in the last few months have added a number of pages. Suggest that you go to the Site Map page to get a better idea as to what's on our site and perhaps what you are interested in. Completed the DroidStar page and updated the old Chirp page to reflect the new Chirp Next program. Also added a section on the home page header reflecting the latest pages or updates. Changed Site Updates bulleted listing to a numbered list for easier reference.
May 5, 2023: Many site updates since last logged. Today mostly, put pages in alphabetical order. Updated a few pages that had dead links. Will do a major site map update. Wish Google Sites could do it automatically.

November, 2019: Added CW Code Practice pages.
October, 2019: Put many photos into PowerPoint presentations to make them more organized. Also added the FCC License search page. KB8SCR, Dave put the P-25 digital repeater in Fort Recovery into operation. Works well and was able to easily carry on a QSO from Decatur (about 30 miles) with a handheld P-25 radio connected to a dual band base antenna.
August 6, 2019: Added the LIVE National Weather Service map and rearranged and renamed emergency pages on the website to make info easier to find.
May, 2019: Added Contest Calendar directly to one of our webpages. Should remain up-to-date all of the time now (I hope). Also, look for live feed (or probably pre-recorded most recent net).
March 2019...LOTS of appearance updates.
December 18, 2018: Many more updates to report. As of about Dec 13, created a new section called Become a Ham. Previously, it fell under the Welcome page. As of Dec 17, we have two study pages, each with 9 lessons that are devoted to Technician, General, and Extra Class license studies. Updated in 2020 with the latest question pools and videos.

August 14, 2018: Many updates since last logged. Removed all past recorded nets but they're being streamed and archived on YouTube. Added a number of pages, as well, to make the site more useful. Look around!
May 17, 2018: Added a page called Chirp under the Repeaters section. This page contains several image files for radios that are compatible with Chirp. The primary image file will contain local repeaters and some simplex frequencies, the others a diverse variety of public service and other frequencies. Note: Feb 18, 2024 - See site map for current locations. The links here are still correct.
March 27, 2018: Added an eBook called The Wireless Experimental Manual by Elmer E. Bucher, the updated version from 1920 (original was from 1917). Added a conversion calculator to one of PGs How-to pages.
March 22, 2018: New page added, The Fox Hunt and changed the name of the PG Pages to How-to's and Interviews since it looks like there may be a lot of stuff coming on board during the next few months. Note: Feb 18, 2024 - The page has been renamed "PG's How To's".

February 27, 2018: Created new logo. Still working on it a bit, but it seems like a decent design. Always up for new ideas, though. Added weather widget on the footer of each page and a solar/terrestrial widget on the home page. Will be looking for widgets that will give you more info and a reason to visit our site.
February 17, 2018: Peeled the "Site News" from the home page and created a separate page for it just under the home page. Trying to unclutter a bit. In 2019, just added that all to the home page.
February 15, 2018: Got a Google Voice number for W9JCA.COM. The W9JCA.COM Info Line is 765-329-2181. UPDATE Nov 7, 2022: No public interest in the phone number and decided to discontinue that one. But any current phone numbers, if any, will be posted on the header of our home page.
February 6, 2018: Posted first JCARC Tuesday net recording to the Past Events page. This should be a regular event in the future, but don't hold us to that. As of 2019, all past nets that are kept will be found on YouTube and none kept on the site.
January 24, 2018: Updated the look of the home page. Did away with the logo that didn't seem to fit the site as it is now, sort of stuck out there. We probably don't need one for the website, but if I come up with something decent, then maybe. Also redid the menu system. The website has grown a bit so it's a good thing.

September 1, 2017: Added recorded podcast from PG on PG's Pages.
August 8, 2017: Added a number of pages over the last several weeks. Added a few navigation links to those pages, as well. Will make the pages more consistent with each other and make them look like part of the same site.
July 17, 2017: Major change in site navigation. Since the "New Google Sites" doesn't allow much in the way of sub pages, took a few pages off of the navigation bar and created links on appropriate pages so the navigation bar wouldn't be so confusing. It's a lot easier to get around the site this way. Some of the text edited for clarity. Major edits to Activities page. UPDATE Nov 7, 2022: New Google sites does now support sub-pages and they're being used as necessary on W9JCA.COM.
June 27, 2017: Added pages: Site Updates (this page), Field Day 2017, and Ham Interview - Audio and included an article and photos
Created YouTube upload site and video now posted on Field Day 2017 page. Audio of ham interview also included along with article. We could not get permission to use the article, but it's good info and links to the original article on Yahoo's Tech News page are included. We'll leave it here as long as they allow.

July 2, 2017: Changes to some text on the home page.
May, 2017: Site created using New Google sites. Domain name purchased.
