Not too long ago, something similar (but generally MUCH larger) would have been only found in science magazines or in the dreams of amateur radio operators and would set you back a thousand dollars or more. But along comes the super-cheap and super-capable micro processors such as Arduino and the Raspberry Pi...and the inexpensive VNA was born that will only set you back only around $200 and a cheap one, much less.
