VR Tools

The basic tools are those that allow simple actions to be carried out, whether in Virtual or Augmented Reality.

To use a tool, first select the tool you wish to use from the "Tools" menu. The "Tools" menu will then be displayed, allowing you to interact with it.

BIM Information

Once you have selected this tool, click on any element to view its BIM information.

With this tool, you can view all the BIM parameters and edit them if you have configured any VTPlatform_Pset.

Filter

This tool allows you to filter model elements by their type, highlighting the selected type and hiding the rest.

Click on the group of elements you want to display or hide to activate the filter. Click again to show the hidden elements.

Opacity

You can change the opacity of the elements to improve the visualization of the model or reality.

Select the element or the entire model, then slide the slider towards '-' or '+' to adjust the visibility of the 3D model.

This tool is very useful for hiding or showing the model while working in the field, allowing you to compare it with the real elements in the space. It can also be helpful for blurring model elements to highlight annotations made in VR.

Section Cut

Perform section cuts of the model to generate different viewpoints in the scene.

Once the tool menu is displayed, select the axis on which to start the cut.  Then slide the slider from '+' to '-' to perform the section.

Scale

The scale tool allows you to change the display size of the model. By default, the model appears in 1:1 scale.

Once the tool is selected, choose one of the default scales or click on 1:1 and manually enter the desired scale value.

Use the arrows to scale up or down gradually.

Measure

Use the measure tool to perform checks on the model or reality.

Take measurements:

Once inside the measurement tool menu, move the pointer to the desired location and click the controller trigger to place the starting point of the measurement. Then, move the pointer to the second point and click again to place the second point.

You can assign a name to each measurement.

Manage measurements:

Once a measurement has been made, it will appear in the measurement panel of the tool.

In VR, measurements will appear in the menu panel. Click the arrow next to a measurement to access the edit menu.

Press ''Delete All'' to delete all measurements made in the scene.

Paint

The "Paint" tool enables you to draw strokes within the scene or on the elements of the model.

Location in the model

This tool is exclusively available in VR and indicates your current location within the model.

Additionally, you can use this tool to locate any new web, AR or VR anchors you have placed.
