Glossary
AR: augmented reality which may refer to a device or application.
VR: virtual reality, either referring to a device or an application.
Apps: programs from which to run virtual or augmented reality solutions.
VT-Platform: VT-Lab´s web application. It is a service associated with the solutions necessary to manage it.
Basic functionality: those that allow you to perform actions or use the applications. These functionalities are available in all solutions and in any interface. For example: move, see menu.
Tools: are those that allow you to perform simple actions both in the free visualization solution and within the different solutions.
Specific tool: specific actions for each solution such as "check", "print", "send note", so that the solution makes sense by using the tools for a specific purpose.
Case of use: using a specific set of tools and other functionality, in a specific order to carry out a specific process. Sample: carrying out a stakeout: placing the marks, measuring, loading the model and anchoring it to the space.
Payment plans: level at which a solution is purchased.

Project: projects are the working unit of VT-Platform. It can include 3D models, 2d files or the data generated in them by the users.
Project user: any user who has been added to a project.
Project admin: is the user responsible for the project. There must be at least 1 and he can share or add more users to the project.
Root - Platform administrator: User who controls and manages all permissions, users and projects on the platform. Contact us to learn more about this feature.
BIM: building information model, a 3D data file for AEC sector.
IFC: standard BIM model exchange file in the AEC sector. One of the formats supported in VT-Platform.
BCF: standard BIM file format used for managing and communicating issues in the AEC sector. One of the formats supported in VT-Platform.
BIM viewer: functionality included in the VT-Platform web application that allows the visualization of 3D models from the browser.
Digital anchor: digital mark that is placed in the web viewer or applications to position the BIM model in reality at a scale of 1:1.
Log: history of actions performed on the web platform by a company's users. This functionality is only available to platform administrators. Contact us to learn more about this possibility.
