QR site link is a specific VT-Platfrom solution that allows to link the BIM model to reality through a QR code.
How this solution works?
This solution converts VT-Platform digital anchors into QR codes, which serve as linking points between the BIM model and the real world.
How to link the model with a QR code
Step 1: Print the QR
Print the QR provided by VT-Lab in real size
Step 2: Place a digital anchor in the web viewer
To place a new web anchor, click on the anchor icon in the viewer tools and select "Add New Anchor."
Then, choose a name for your anchor, position it on the model , and save the location by clicking on the save icon.
Important aspects to consider
The anchor must not be placed inside objects; it should be attached to one side.
The anchor should be placed at the exact location where you will be in the field.
Step 3: Open the AR application and select the QR site link solution
In this step, the digital anchors will be converted into QR codes.
Step 4: Select the anchor in the model
Select the anchor in the model with which you want to superimpose.
Step 5: Scans the QR to superimpose the model on reality
In this step, a scanner will open to read the QR code.
*If the model becomes unlinked, you can rescan by clicking on the anchor icon.
