IDea Collage

I was born in a coastal town in Mexico, and I immigrated to the United States at a young age. Being an immigrant is something that's impacted my work in various ways. I find myself drawn to imagery of animals, nature, and small critters 

For my collage, I chose to represent the places, creatures, artists, and causes that inspire me most. Traveling and experiencing new environments have been great motivators in my recent life. I’m deeply inspired by different textures and enjoy experimenting with the significance that texture and pattern can hold.

I find my work to be a reflection of who I am, what I believe in, and my life experience.
