Virtual School Tour on Wednesday! No written work this week. Click:
Handwriting competition extended to Wednesday 17th June!
At this time of year in school we always have our handwriting competition and this year is no different. Except it is a little bit different! This year you are all invited to enter the handwriting competition at home, take a photo of your piece and email it to your teacher to enter it into the competition.
In some ways it might be easier, because you won't be under any time pressure to get it done like you would be if you were in school. You have the whole week to get it done and just send it to your teacher on or before Wednesday 17th June.
The piece you have to write out should take one copy page. We are using a poem from Racing Ahead pg 229 so everyone is writing the same piece. Don't worry if you don't have your Racing Ahead, I have uploaded a picture of the poem you have to write below.
Here are some tips before you start:
Write in blue pen.
Don't forget to write the title in red pen.
It should all fit on one copy page.
You should use cursive handwriting.
Skip a line between each verse.
So do your best and good luck!
