Theme: Crazy Circles

In maths this week you have been learning all about circles, hence the inspiration for this week's art theme...

'Crazy Circles'

Task: You can create your own artwork entitled 'Crazy Circles'. Again it can be completed using any art materials you have at home.

Below are some resources to help inspire you.

1. The first is a powerpoint presentation about the artist Wassily Kandinsky. Kandinsky is considered an abstract artist. Abstract art is art that does not attempt to represent an accurate picture of reality but instead use shapes, colours, forms and lines.

In this powerpoint you will learn more about Wassily Kandinsky. There is also a colour mixing activity for you to try if you wish and a look and respond activity. Enjoy 🎨

2. The second resource is a powerpoint containing a selection artwork by adults and children using circles.
