During the past century, logic not only developed into the mature discipline it is today but, more importantly, achieved extraordinary results that have challenged previous understandings of both formal and natural languages, becoming an invaluable source of insight for philosophical debate.
Topics may include, but are not restricted to, the following ones:
Gödel’s incompleteness results and their philosophical significance
Paradoxes, inconsistency and paraconsistency: what do they teach us
Logicism and Neologicism: which are the connections between logic and mathematics
Turing’s computability results and their philosophical significance

Duration of contributing talks is 30mn including discussion. There will be a round table at the end of the workshop with the participation of all the speakers.
Accepted contributors will be invited to submit a full paper for inclusion in a volume on Logic Paradoxes to be edited by the organizers following the workshop.
