"A relevantist approach to Bell’s theorem"
If one takes a relevance logic in the depth family seriously, many results across different scientific fields start to look logically suspicious. Examples in mathematics and other formal sciences abound, but here I will give one example in theoretical physics: Bell’s proof of an infamous inequality in quantum mechanics. The proof involves relevantly dubious principles, which might partially explain the resulting mismatch with the empirical evidence. (Joint work with Fernando Cano-Jorge)
