Heavy Armour (eg. rigid leather, chain, plate): +6 HP and when wearing heavy, all ranged spells always cost Spirit to cast
An hour’s rest restores all your HP
You start with 5 Spirit. It costs 1 Spirit to use an ability, unless stated otherwise.
Spirit is restored to full upon completing a Spiritual Renewal
Once per minute, you may use a Lesser Magic ability for free. You can use it additional times for 1 Spirit per use.
You may use a Greater Magic ability for 1 Spirit
Ignore an Effect you are targeted with. You then become Immune to the Effect for 10 seconds.
Man Down: Used for an Out of Character injury. Please stop fighting and do not echo the call.
Lay Off: Used to lessen the intensity of a scene or indicate blows are hard.
Bring it On: Used to seek consent and that you are comfortable to increase the scene intensity.
Non-Combatant: Used to indicate the user is an Out of Character non-combatant. You should simulate striking this person rather than making full contact. They will still take full effect from the game and calls and they should attempt to remove themselves from combat.
All effects last 10 seconds unless otherwise stated.
Blast: Target takes 3 damage and a Fling Effect
Burn: Target is in pain and on fire, and takes 1 damage every 10 seconds
Cleanse X: Ends the stated Effect on the target and the target becomes Immune to the Effect for 10 seconds
Consume Spirit: Can only be used on an Unresisting or recently dead target. Caster regains 2HP. This kills target if they are not already dead.
Curse: Target may not spend Spirit or use Lesser Magic. This might result in a Curse or Lingering Malady Page.
Daze: Target cannot attack, cast, or advance. They may still retreat and parry.
Entangle: Affects the target even if parried, and they may not move their feet. Target is Immune to Non-Sunder Fling Effects.
Enthral: Target walks swiftly towards the origin of the Effect in a trance. They cannot attack, parry, or cast. The Effect is broken upon taking any damage.
Fling: Affects the target even if parried, and they safely move 10 ft back
Heal: Target regains the stated amount of HP
Impale: Target takes 3 damage even if parried by a shield, but it can be parried by a weapon. Target takes a Fling Effect even if parried by a weapon or shield.
Paralyse: Target may not move or speak, and counts as Unresisting.
Reveal X: Target should respond “Yes” or “I am X” if they have or are the stated quality specified, and “No” or “I am not X” if they do not
Scourge: This Effect lasts until it is removed. Target's bleed count is reduced to 1 minute instead of the normal 5 minutes. They may get a Lingering Malady Page.
Sensation X: Target must roleplay the Effect as they think is appropriate to their character. E.g. if affected by Sensation Fear, a particularly cowardly character may run for the hills while a stalwart warrior may be stopped in their tracks, afraid to move any further.
Silence: Target cannot speak, make loud noises or use abilities that require speech.
Sunder: Target takes 10 damage if struck, and takes a Fling and a Daze Effect regardless of whether they were struck or parried the blow.
Ward: Gives the target a free Resist to the stated Effect. Characters are only allowed to be under the effect of one Ward at a time, unless stated otherwise.
Weakness: Target cannot run or strike for Effects. They should act slow and lethargic.
