A Grand Rite to forge the spirit, body and mind into a new and mighty form
Cost: 2 Orange Ribbons, 2 Red Ribbons, 2 Purple Ribbons, 2 Metallic Ribbons, a Spirit of Primal Flame
Optional: 1 Crafting Stone or Metal, for Body, Mind, or Spirit
Actions: The caster declares their will to conduct a forging. They present the target, be it themselves or someone else and give a thorough accounting of the nature of their mind, body, and spirit.
They then demand the spirit of primal flame recognise their target’s nature and use their mystic heat to make them malleable to great change. The spirit of Primal Flame uses their mystic heat to render the target amenable to change.
The forging then begins, a free form performance making clear the changes to the target’s body, mind, and spirit as the magic is shaped, through literal, metaphorical, allegorical or narrative means.
Before the last step the caster may, if they wish, melt a Crafting Metal or Stone into either the Target’s Body, Mind, or Spirit to provide additional power.
Finally the caster must extinguish the forge, through literal, metaphorical, allegorical or narrative means, sending the spirit back to its rest.
Effect: The Target is reforged in Body, Spirit, and Mind, gaining a creature page whose name and nature is determined by the rite, and altering the nature of their existence in other ways. Their new form is determined by the performance of the rite and any materials used. To be the target of a forging is hazardous and one without a clear will and intent at every step may manifest results the caster did not intend. The target’s spirit may take several hours to cool and fix into its new form.
