Jakey Braunagel

My work explores how music is psychologically experienced. There are positive and negative impacts to listening to music. You can often tell how someone is affected by music. There are people who listen to music, but are ignorant of the statistics, which this work seeks to address by gathering and visually representing data. The colors in the design represent the orders I named in my exploration.

About the Artist

Jakey Braunagel is soon to be Cal State San Marcos graduate. As a student, he originally majored in Computer Science during his first semester but changed his major to Art, Media, and Design. As an Art, Media, and Design major, Jakey has gained knowledge in using Adobe Apps such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Express, and Premier Pro. Outside of school, he is a drummer and a DJ who is often referred to by his stage name “DJ Jazzy Jake”.
