Students of the Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology (FAST faculty) show their passion for science at FAST-TECHSHOW 2021
In order to promote self-research and creativity in students and improve training quality, on the afternoon of December 17, 2020, at room C303 Building C, University of Science and Technology - University of Danang, Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology (FAST) held the Student Scientific Research Conference for the academic year 2020-2021 (FAST Tech Show 2020).
FAST with its strategic orientation of applied research, innovation and digital transformation has been responded to by faculty and students through many domestic and international science and technology activities. Science and technology achievements of FAST Faculty in 2020 are marked by the quantity and quality of scientific research works with 3 articles in the ISI Scopus catalog, more than 10 reports at prestigious international conferences published in Springer, IEEE.

STEM education gradually develops through contests on application of science and technology and science exhibitions held in Da Nang.
From exhibitions, science competitions...
Instead of previously known only on theory and dry books, now with STEM education methods (short for Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) - a cohesive learning model based on practical applications), students can have access to science and technology products at an early age and arouse the desire to learn deeply.

The year 2020 continues to be a successful year for the Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology in cooperating with foreign partner universities to send students for internships and graduation projects (Capstone Project) as well as graduate study abroad. This year is also the second year in a row that FAST continues to cooperate with LogiViet-France Company and La Soget Company based in Le Havre city (France) - the world's leading company in software solutions. for the field of global logistics - to send 2 students majoring in Software Engineering of the PFIEV Program to France to practice and do Capstone Project at the company's headquarters.
Cooperation with enterprises and research institutes domestic and abroad in implementing internships and preparing graduation projects (Capstone Project - CP) for students is one of the important and pioneering activities of FAST in improving the quality of training, is “where academic knowledge meets industrial reality” – said by Assoc. PhD. Doan Quang Vinh - Rector of the University In 2020, nearly 80 Capstone Project were proposed by 50 domestic and foreign enterprises such as Bosch, FPT, Fossil, Synopsys, Viettel, CMC Telecom, GOGET (France)... was sent to work as a Capstone Project at the research lab of famous universities such as G2Elab-Grenoble (France), University of Montréal (Canada), Polytech University Marseille (France), Tokyo University of Electronics and Communication (Japan), National Cheng Kung University (Taiwan).
In the joyful atmosphere of the whole country to celebrate Vietnam Teachers' Day, on the evening of November 18, 2020, the youth Union of Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology (FAST) of the University of Science and Technology - the University of Danang organized a program on celebrating Vietnam Teachers' Day and welcoming First-year students for the course 2020 with many exciting and colorful activities as a special greeting for new members.

EFAST was established on December 1, 2020 with the encouragement and support of the Leadership Board of the Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology (FAST) - University of Science and Technology - University of Danang. Although newly established with an initial scale of only 8 key members and 30 participating members, EFAST hopes to "inspire" English learning, arousing passion and enthusiasm for English for technical students so that student can confidently communicate in English and work in a professional international environment.
