In automative manufacturing

Introduction

Automatic Manufacturing Program (Major of Mechanical Engineering): In collaboration with INP Grenoble University (Grenoble City, French Republic). Intensive training in the field of production automation (mechanical, mechatronics, automation, automatic control, production management, and organization); the ability to design parts, control, monitor, and maintain automatic production lines; mechanical product design, control, and maintenance of automatic mechanical processing equipment, precision mechanical machines; production management of automatic production lines.

Program Objectives

To train engineers with solid foundations in mathematical knowledge, basic science, and technical foundations; have good foreign language skills to be ready to work in an international environment; have basic practical skills; have in-depth knowledge in the field of production automation (mechanical, mechatronics, automation, automatic control, management and production organization); capable of designing parts, controlling, monitoring and maintaining automatic production lines; mechanical product design, control and maintenance of automatic mechanical processing equipment, precision mechanical machines; organize and manage the production of automated production lines.

Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)

  1. Access to expertise and technology in the fields of manufacturing process automation, product design and CAD/CAM/CNC technology, and production management and administration.

  2. Capability to use fundamental scientific knowledge, technical foundations, industrial foundations, and specialized knowledge in the fields of product design and processing, automation of the manufacturing process, and management and control of the manufacturing process.

  3. Capability to interpret and analyse experimental data; use experimental outcomes to enhance processes.

  4. The ability to utilize knowledge in the design of systems and components.

  5. The ability to efficiently arrange teamwork.

  6. The ability to recognize, evaluate, and refer to papers and procedures in order to solve technical difficulties.

  7. The ability to convey findings.

  8. The ability to do research and self-study.

  9. Understanding of society and the environment.

  10. Access to current equipment in automatic manufacturing lines, as well as the use of sophisticated technical equipment and tools required for specialized industries.

  11. Knowledge of specialist software.

  12. Requirements for foreign language output standards to receive a high-quality Engineering program: English: TOEFL 500, French DELF B1.

Curriculum Structure

Knowledge modules: Basic science: 50 units of study; Science and Engineering: 31 units of study; Mechanical-Mechatronics: 59 units of study; Automatic Control: 34 units of study; Electrical and Electronic circuits: 6 units of study; Informatics: 6 units of study; Economics and Production Management: 31 units of study; Foreign languages: 51 units of study.
