PFIEV - excellent engineer training PROGRAM

in INDUSTRIAL INFORMATICS

Introduction

Industrial Informatics Program (Major of Electrical - Electronic Engineering): In collaboration with INP Grenoble University (Grenoble City, French Republic). Intensive training in automated control, computer technology, and industrial electronics; competent of creating and maintaining factory communication networks and electronic systems; control, monitor, and design automated production lines.

Program Objectives

To train engineers with a foundation of basic math and science knowledge; good foreign language ability to work in an international environment; basic practical skills; in-depth knowledge of automatic control, information technology, and industrial electronics; capable of designing and maintaining industrial communication networks in factories, electronic systems in industry; and controlling, monitoring, and designing automatic production lines.

Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)

  1. Having a solid foundation of knowledge as well as the ability to efficiently use current equipment such as computers, mobile phones, embedded systems, and computer networks.

  2. Have enough specialist knowledge to be extremely versatile and operate with a variety of operating systems and programming languages, technologies, microprocessors, and hardware.

  3. Demonstrated ability to evaluate, develop, and implement software systems.

  4. Possess a critical mentality for recognizing, analyzing, and continuously improving.

  5. Possess creative thinking in order to constantly investigate and build new products, both in terms of hardware and software.

  6. The ability to coordinate and perform efficiently in a team setting.

  7. Capable of presenting results and exchanging experiences with colleagues and clients, as well as having soft skills in scientific and technological tasks.

  8. The ability to constantly study in order to prepare oneself and add new knowledge in the quickly changing setting of the information technology profession.

  9. Understanding of society and the environment.

  10. Requirements for foreign language output standards to receive a high-quality Engineering program: English: TOEFL 500, French DELF B1.

Knowledge modules: Basic Science: 48 basic units of study; Science and Engineering: 34 units of study; Socio-economic: 18 units of study; Control-Measurement: 49 units of study; Informatics: 24 units of study; Electronic Circuit: 16 units of study; Electrical System: 9 units of study; Foreign Languages: 55 units of study.
