INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE @ FAST
IQA Process
The University of Danang - University of Science and Technology (DUT) is one of the very first universities to implement Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) Mechanism at Program and Institutional level based on Quality Standards issued by ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) and Ministry of Education and Training (MOET). The DUT’s IQA is designed based on a QA model encompassing Inputs – Processes – Outputs – Outcomes – Impacts. General scheme and detailed structure are depicted in the following figures. All study programs at Faculty of Science and Technology (FAST) have been designed, operated and developed following the DUT’s IQA.
Outcome-based Education (OBE) has been trained, applied and developed for all Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs at UD-DUT since 2017.

The formulation of the expected learning outcomes takes into account and reflects the vision and mission of UD-DUT and the needs of all stakeholders as shown below.
The curriculum, teaching and learning methods and student assessment are constructively aligned to achieve the expected learning outcomes. Course matrix is constructed based on the I-T-U methodology to form logically structured, sequenced, integrated curriculum from the program learning outcomes.
In order to gather inputs and feedback from staff, students, alumni and employers, the university and program have designed and developed a systematic feedback mechanism subject to evaluation and enhancement.
